The French Red Cross is a volunteer-led humanitarian organisation that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are, in France or abroad. Leveraging on its network of 50,000 volunteers and 16,000 employees, the French Red Cross is particularly active in everyday first aid as well as first aid training.
The French Red Cross is part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, which operates in 188 countries and has around 13 million volunteers worldwide.
The French Federation of Cardiology (FFC) has been a state-approved association since 1977, with nationwide presence. The FFC comprises 300 cardiologists, 1,600 volunteers and 26 regional centres. The FFC’s key missions include informing the public for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, financing research in cardiology and educating the population to first aid.
